Our Story

Hi! We are Kamie and Renae, and we own a community cafe!

Before we even met, we both had the idea that our town of Stewiacke would be a great place to start a coffee shop. Fast forward about 13 months and we began discussing plans while at a playdate with our baby girls. As we approach our first year of business, we are grateful for the support that we receive from our community and are excited for future projects and expansions. We hope you join us on this exciting journey as we navigate the trials and triumphs of being business women, mothers, and everything in between. 

Hey! I’m Kamie. I’m a wanna be crafter, a someday homesteader, and drink enough coffee that wholesale prices started to look appealing. Running a coffee shop in my community allows me to draw on not only all my work and educational experience, but also gives me a creative outlet through art, event planning, and cooking! So here we go, on another adventure, I can’t wait to see where this takes us!

I’m Renae, I enjoy hiking, painting and most importantly, coffee. My husband has been a local firefighter for 10+ years and has always been passionate about Stewiacke. When we settled in Stewiacke 5+ years ago I fell in love with the local community. I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to own a local business whose goal is to create strong connections to the community. I am also excited to get to know Stewiacke even better through coffee and treats!
